The HDA200 Interface can be run standalone with the experiment hardware OR in parallel with the experimental software (software only supplied when experiment hardware purchased with dedicated HDA200). The experiment hardware transducers are wired into the HDA200 Interface using front mounted, quick connect screw terminals. The integral 4 line, backlit LCD displays only the parameters being fed into it by the experiment hardware. The parameters have their respective Engineering units also displayed, i.e. N, mm, με, °.
The HDA200 Interface is supplied in a powder coated, metallic enclosure, with rubber feet for mounting onto a bench top. Also supplied is a frame mounting bracket which allows the Interface to be mounted to the HST1 Universal Frame and Stand. The LCD has an excellent viewing angle. A universal power supply is supplied, but the HDA200 Interface can also run direct from a host PC (not supplied) using the USB cable supplied. Comprehensive instruction manuals are supplied suitable for student operation of the hardware and covers all aspects of set-up, and operation.
