Founded in 1959 by Dr. Paul Hilton for the design, development and manufacture of engineering laboratory teaching equipment, P.A.Hilton Ltd moved to Horsebridge Mill in 1968 and in 1999 the company celebrated it’s 40th anniversary.

Recognised as market leaders within the undergraduate Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Transfer disciplines the Company continues to expand its catalogue to include a complete range of Vocational Refrigeration Training Equipment, software and training, in addition to the advanced level equipment contained in this brochure.

The company has also expanded upon its experience in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and has a range of industrial services and equipment as Hilton Energy and Thermal Technology (HEATT).This product range is aimed at testing, performance measurement and computerised data acquisition, primarily in the industrial/commercial refrigeration industries, though many Universities have also utilised this equipment to offer a testing service to industry.

Having an enviable reputation for after sales service and the quality of our products, we are able to continue to offer support for even the earliest models. The United Nations Montreal Protocol and its later amendments have resulted in a strict time-scale for the worldwide phase out of ozone depleting refrigerants. All of our current products use ozone friendly refrigerants and in addition we are able

conversion upgrades to enable all of our earlier units to operate on these new fluids. For a low cost, this greatly extends the working life of the equipment and enables us to continue to support the products.
